I'll be honest I adore lumineon and it came to be due to doubles draft. Being such a weak pokemon it's usually a t5 or 6 pokemon but has incredible value with helping hands icy wind tailwind and dazzling gleam among other things

I use it in masterball tier currently and it does very well because people down expect it. Dragon dance Feraligatr takes 1-2 with him before getting knocked out.

Kingambit is likely to have a very, very strong competitive career down the road from how Kingambit has been so far at the time of this video. With a second look on Kingambit with the appropriate title “How GREAT was Kingambit?” Plus with the pawniard line now being a three stage evolution Pokémon goes perfectly with the axew line, as both Pokémon have a long history of natural rivalry with one another.

Swellow gets a special attack move set but had a rather low special attack stat to be effective and for some reason received boomburst, which is out of place for Swellow.

God awful execution. In 'buffing' these Pokemon, you just tack on excessive stats and typings that don't even fit, striping the Pokemon of how it was initially intended to work. Plusle, for example, is meant to be weak without Minun (though even with it, it doesn't quite hit high heights due to competition). By giving it a ton of stats and a random Ice typing, you make it some kind of monster on its own which takes away its entire identity. Adding some extra stats is alright and expected, but 135 is beyond excessive. It would be more fun to rather buff the way it works with Minun, giving larger buffs to each across the board while they are on the field together, or even giving them a 'tagteam' form when both are out that make them into a Dondozo-Tatsugiri-like combo, making them more viable but maintaining their design identity.

meganium is one of my favorite pokemon of all time; i remember shredding through colosseum with this guy all attack maxed out! so its really nice to see it fully fulfilled as a dragon type that i always thought it should be!

If I had designed Onix, I would have given it the same attack stat as Geodude. I believe it would make it a threat early-game while not being overbearing, and frankly it would probably be as bad as usual in the rest of the tiers other than Little Cup, where I wonder if it would get banned even without Sturdy. Steelix would have 20 extra Attack, and 20 extra Speed, just to keep the total BST increase upon evolution, without making it an offensive nightmare in addition to its defensive prowess. ...oh, and I would make Onix rock only, without the Ground typing, which is more a detriment to it before evolution. Steelix would keep its typings, though, even if it was a bit weird for it to basically change types in this hypothetical time line.

Much better than its two other brethen, not just because it doesn't have 4x damage weakness to Rock types, it's Rock type weakness is only one of the two weakness it has, the other being Ice type. Then you give it Heat Wave that was like "WTF" because that was too much of a Moltres thing, and Zapdos is also not exactly as fragile as you think - in fact, Zapdos is a literal Lightning Bruiser - that high special attack, good speed, and... somewhat good bulk? Yeah, I mean if it runs Toxic and a recovery move you can see that it can actually stall. In fact, its' Pressure ability helps for PP stalling as well, and it's difficult to get rid of an opponent's Zapdos. I think this needs a remake video. "How GREAT is Zapdos now actually?" to cover Gen 7-9. Spoiler alert: Zapdos still remained OU in SM and SS. It took until Gen 9 (SV) to drop to UU, and even there its still fantastic

Oh, Arceus... Gen 8 (Sword and Shield) is the only generation in Smogon where all three forms of Kyurem are in Ubers. (Meaning regular Kyurem is basically outclassed and has nothing to go for it because that Dragon Dance buff was actually too broken for it.) In Gen 9 (Scarlet and Violet) however power creep somehow allowed base form Kyurem to return back to OU while it's Black/White forms are still in Ubers. It's now available thanks to the Indigo Disk expansion, and Kyurem was actually a fairly deadly threat there (and in fact one of the best Pokemon in OU!), but has to compete with several other bunch of legendary and mythical Pokemon that were former Ubers and allowed into OU, one of which is Zamzaenta-Hero (yes, this beast got actually allowed in OU!), as well as some new prominient Pokemon such as Kingambit and Great Tusk

One of the best ever non-uber Legendary Pokemon in competitive scenes ever since ADV (RS) generation... oh wait. Latios and his sister Latias were in ubers in RS. Lmao. At least Latios now got allowed into OU in Gen 5.

Lumineon may not be a good Pokemon, but I certainly enjoyed using one in a Platinum playthrough as I always try and use Pokemon I haven't before, I also had a Chatot on that team that was surprisingly good, and a Rotom which sadly couldn't change forms, but Lumineon was decent for me, definitely not a Competitive Pokemon but enjoyable for a story playthrough.

Maractus could have an evolution in gen 10! Like com on, it has only 461 BST and that's low enough to allow another evolution without causing very massive problems. Also, I need more LC pokemon analysis. *How Good was Eevee actually?* Or maybe cover in a side video if you're not going to bother with making a regular analysis video for it

I love Lumineon, it's my favorite fish pokemon. I didn't think it would be considered forgettable, it's the best looking fish pokemon in existence. Weird how you added Meganium in this video, instead of something really forgotten like Delcatty. Meganium is quite unforgettable for how bad it is.

It always confuses me on how ghost was physical, but dark was special in gens before gen 4. Like what in the world sounds physical about shadow ball or night shade when compared to bite or crunch, moves that were considered "special"?
